This week we talk Catherine Tate’s post-Who career, review The Jungle Book and Captain America: Civil War.
Andy and Mark saw The Jungle Book. Amazing looking. Fun for kids and adults. Amazing casting and voice work. Go see this!
Catherine Tate. Not much that weve seen because its a lot of BBC made for tv movies we cant get. Gullivers Travels. The Office. We mostly just end up talking about the British Office vs American Office rather than Catherine Tate.
Minor plot spoilers for Civil War. SPIDER-MAN. Stealing the movie. Black Panther. Ryan Coogler. Vision and Scarlet Witch. His sweaters are on point. John Slattery. Flashbacks to Back to School. No, you move.
Were back! Andy was in the hospital. But he got better. We talk about a possible new companion casting and a lot about Arthur Darvills post-Who career, including minor spoilers for the most recent episodes of DCs Legends of Tomorrow. You’ll want to be here next week.
Possible new companion casting: Rakhee Thakrar, who was previously on EastEnders. Why we want a person of color as the companion. Bring me the female woman of color! Star Wars: Rogue One trailer. Why do we continue to need to have these conversations in 2016?
Arthur Darvill: our favorite New Who male companion.
Broadchurch. It was cool the Doctor and Rory, but yet not. Great to see him be under suspicion as the priest, but he was great. Did anyone see him as Mephistopheles in Doctor Faustus? No, but we want to. DCs Legends of Tomorrow- the heart of the show is Rip Hunter and time travel. The last two episodes got good again. Minor spoilers- is he willing to kill a child to save his wife and daughter? It cant become the villains Captain Cold and Heatwave power hour.
Next week well talk Captain America: Civil War after Melissa sees it. Shes definitely Team Cap. Cap v Iron Man v Batman v Superman. Well talk Jungle Book and Criminal maybe.
